The video I have chosen is a music video by K-pop artist Agust D daechwita. The reason I have chosen this is there is a lot of different angles and lot of different shots. In this music video the rapper (Yoongi) plays a role of lots of different people. At the beginning we see him in a hat looking like he hasn't got much money and he's going in a shop, we also have him with a car and we have him as a king. At the end of the song we see the king kill the version of him as the poor version.
Throughout the video there is a number of Cut transitions for example at 0.23 we go from the kings palace to him in the market, this is where we get our first close up and we can see that he has a scar on his face where we learn that he has got by trying to defeat his version of the king. By using the cut transition shots this allows us to be able to see all the different versions of himself in such a short time period, by cutting straight to the scene it saves a lot of time and it make a lot smoother and less confusing for the audience.
In this music video they have made sure to carry out the 180 degree rule. They have had to be really careful when doing this because they have so many characters that the person is playing. Sometimes it can get confusing and we can only tell when the character has changed because of the background and the clothing that they are wearing. The music video is about him trying to become king so he is fighting himself to become the person he wants to be. When having to do they they are having to be careful about how they are having to have both characters they are having to have the different point of view from the other characters perspective. For example when they are looking at the king he is either on the right side of the screen or the middle, we hardly ever see him on the right side. The other characters he plays are normally in the right side or the middle of the screen, this makes it easier for the audience to know who is who. Most of the screening is in the middle so the rapper is almost always centered, when he is going round the camera follows the far so it goes round in a circle this allows us to follow him as he goes along and it make it easier and less confusing for the audience to look at. They have used a variety of angles for example at 2.22 they have used a low angled shot which makes him look more fierce and high up. This makes the him look more high up and more powerful than he actually is. They also do a lot of close up shots, this is helpful because we can see more details of the eyes and the scar on the side of his face. There is also an eye line shot making it look like the two different sides of Yoongi are looking at himself. At 2.04 there is a slow motion of the car going round which creates more suspense, at 3.49 there is another slow motion when he is bringing the sward out of the case, this is done so we are thinking what is he going to do with that and why is he doing it so slowly as it makes him look dangerous.
