Depict Evaluation

For this task we were set to create a 90 second short film. The idea of this was the main character was going to see his friends and they wasn't able to see him so he goes into a panic so he washes his face and tries to find solutions to help his friends to see him. Before shooting this video we had to complete some paper for example we had to complete a location release form, talent release forms and risk assessments, we also had to do a shot list so we planned out how the filming was going to be before we started to shoot. When planning these i didn't have much input on this because i struggle to draw so i just had to chose the locations and the timings, the rest of the group was in charge of the drawings.
The film that we made didn't really look like the thing that we had planned due to the location and timings we did have to change some of the scenes. We added a scene at the beginning as it didn't really make sense when we was filming so we added a scene when the person was trying to talk to his friends so the audience could get some information about what was happening.

When filming I believe this was the most challenging thing that we done because we had to make sure that there was no reflection in the mirror and by doing this we had to take a picture and use an overlay to do it, while doing this we had to think about the lighting, the positioning and we had to make sure that they where all the same so when editing them they wouldn't be noticeable.
If we was to do this again i would make sure that the group i was in was more prepared as nothing ran smoothly so i would have just made sure the group was there a lot more and not have as many people have time off college during filming times and the group just wasn't prepared. What i liked most about this project is being able to experiment with the camera and filming equipment and also being able to talk to people that i wouldn't normally talk to  so that allowed me to become more sociable with the people who are in the class with me.
